Cancellation & Refund Policy
Last Updated: October 2026
At DevDiwaliBoatBooking.com (powered by VisitKashi), we strive to provide a seamless booking experience for the grand festival of Dev Diwali. Due to the high demand and limited availability of boats during this festival, we have established the following refund and cancellation policy.
Critical Cancellation Rule
Any cancellation made within 10 days of the Dev Diwali festival date is strictly NON-REFUNDABLE. This is due to the advance payments made to boat owners and logistics partners which cannot be recovered during the peak festival rush.
1. Cancellation Timelines
2. No-Show Policy
If a guest fails to arrive at the boarding point (Ravidas Ghat) by the specified reporting time (4:30 PM), it will be treated as a "No-Show." In such cases, the booking will be released, and no refund or rescheduling will be provided.
3. Force Majeure (Acts of God)
In the rare event that local authorities or the police department strictly prohibit river movement due to extreme weather or security reasons, we will work with guests to provide a partial credit for future bookings or an alternative experience. Please note that direct refunds might still be restricted based on on-ground operational costs already incurred.
4. How to Request a Cancellation
All cancellation requests must be sent via email to info@visitkashi.com or via our official WhatsApp number +91-7080109918. The timestamp of the message will be used to determine the cancellation window.
5. Refund Processing
Eligible refunds will be processed within 7-10 working days to the original payment method used during the booking.
